Its been awhile since my last blog so here we go!

Okay, my life is typically uneventful but last weekend was not my typical weekend! Woot!

So, Friday night I went to a play. The Twelfth Night. Very good actors, but a pissy location. Right outside of Walb at IPFW at night after a recent rain. Well, I was able to make it through half the show before I was eaten alive by mosquitoes. The damn buggers would not leave me alone! I was slapping, itching, growling. I couldnt take it anymore, so I left.

So I went down to Dads last weekend and did some work. It was fun and gave me something to do. I have too much free time now-a-days and nothing to do..

The Tweedle auditions and call backs are tonight, so thatll kill some time. Need to find something for Thursday night and Saturday.

On to the pictures!

I started playing Tennis last Saturday for the first time. And let me tell you, I need a lot of work. The sun was shining, weather was great, slight breeze, good workout for a couple of hours until I injured myself. :) (See below for injuries)

IPFW Choir = Great. IPFW Wind ensemble = Great. Snider

Snider is a High School after all. I liked their choir's outfits, but their wind ensemble needs a lot of work, a lot seemed to be out of sync to me. It looked like half the students didn't want to be there. Their second piece was much better than the first, but nothing compared to what IPFW did. I'll need to find out her name from Jimmer, but the gal on the flute for IPFW was very very good. I cant remember the name of the piece, but its a well known one. (Thanks Rachel! Worked over 12 hours yesterday and I am really feeling it today. I didn't have a chance to unwind last night, couldn't sleep. I've always had insomnia, but last night it was a PITA! Didn't sleep a wink.

So, Im going to take a half-day today, get some R&R, and then go to the Side-by-Side Concert at Snider High School tonight (if I can stay awake!) :O. The IPFW Choir is going to sing with a wind ensemble there.

Well, I guess I should post something in this blog.

I went out last night to my nieces 16th birthday party. She was completely surprised. Lol, the first thing she did was remove some of her pictures from the wall that she didnt like. Overall, It was fun, with some really good company there. I left early before the band started playing. The previous nights storm kept me awake until 3am.. and of course I am up for work at 6am, I was feeling exhausted.

So I went with my best friend Jimmer to an Opera. This was a first for me. Overall, I enjoyed it but the entire program was about relationships. Infatuation, Love, Betrayal, Repentance, Reconciliation and it was all in Italian. But, thankfully or not, the translations were displayed on an overhead projection screen.

Anyway the songs and instrumentals brought about a hell of a lot of emotions for me. So I suppose that means it was am excellent show, right? Hell, I dont know.
