We visited this issue in February, when Winding Road speculated Pontiac would get a Camaro spinoff, but now Car and Driver is weighing in. With the imminent return of the Chevy Camaro, many Poncho fans have wondered about a possible return of the screaming chicken, as well. Pontiac's last attempt at reviving a storied model (GTO) met with mixed results.

This was a really well done movie, some of the fights between the auto-bots was long, but the movie had a lot of good humor (a lot!), things blowing up, gun fire..... plenty of ACTION!
Anyway, the camero in it looked really sweet. And I've seen that as the new concept for the camero that is coming out. But I didn't know they had one made already. Well, they don't! Sorta..

Well, I went in tonight to take a look at my baby. She is all sparkly with her new coat of paint. No more dents, dings, scratches, or anything else. I would have taken her home, except it's raining out. I'll wait until there is a nice sunny day, then garage her for the winter. No waxing for 90 days and then it'll be too cold after that point. /sigh I'll probably take her out for a spin or two if the weather is nice.
The subtotal was $15,130. With Tax $15,708.
Body Labor was 74.3 hours
Paint Labor was 39.9 hours
Frame Labor was 3.5 hours

Raining, lost traction, and ended up in a ditch yesterday morning.
The back end started sliding out from under me when going around a curve (clockwise/right). I turned the steering wheel too sharply to the left sending my car in the other direction and going sideways across both lanes. Panicked and hit the gas (400 hp car and hitting the gas is like an insta 20 mph jump).

Well, I broke my old record of 145 mph. I think that's about it for me for now... I can live with the 150 MPH CLUB!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
Well, it got up to 36F on Christmas Eve, warm enough to hand wash my GTO. I’ve been driving it the last few days, so she was a bit dirty. All clean now!

My main gift on Christmas day was another GTO!!! That’s right, but only 18th the size of the gasoline variety. It’s a diecast from GMP.

Every now and then, when I am a few dollars in the hole and have to pay for bounced checks, I wonder… was it a wise choice to buy a GTO. Maybe I should have bought a house.
Like most Americans, I work 5 days a week, 40+ hours a week. For those 5 days, EVERY TIME I get into the goat, I don’t regret it!
This morning I was like (shit, need to make this $100 I have last for two weeks, maybe I shouldn’t have bought the goat). Then I sit in it, feel the comfort, and hear the pipes roar to life.

I walked out of Petware House on Coldwater Rd. in Fort Wayne, IN around 7:20pm… pretty dark out when it's this late these days. Anyway, I took a look over my car like I do EVERY time I get into it… Nothing. Whew, thank God.. because there is a BIG ASS Blue Pickup parked right next to my baby. Huge tires with large tread, probably off-roading type, so it has a high profile. There are two to three dozen parking spots around, and anyone of them wouldn’t have been near my car. There were even around 6 spots right in front of the store, and he parked next to me. Prick.

My new custom fit car cover arrived (after a month)!
It’s a beauty. Water just rolls off.
