Some Jerk Hit My Car!

By admin, 19 October, 2005

I walked out of Petware House on Coldwater Rd. in Fort Wayne, IN around 7:20pm… pretty dark out when it's this late these days. Anyway, I took a look over my car like I do EVERY time I get into it… Nothing. Whew, thank God.. because there is a BIG ASS Blue Pickup parked right next to my baby. Huge tires with large tread, probably off-roading type, so it has a high profile. There are two to three dozen parking spots around, and anyone of them wouldn’t have been near my car. There were even around 6 spots right in front of the store, and he parked next to me. Prick.

Now, FYI, I wash my car EVERY SINGLE DAY after work. For 20 – 30 minutes I go over every inch of it with distilled water and several microfiber towels to remove dust from everything and any brake dusk on the rear ¼ panels. So I know every scratch and rock chip on that car by heart. Anyway, when I get into some decent lighting my Mom (who went with me to the store) saw the dent. I was like, WTF? I took a look, and sure enough. A F*CKING DENT. I couldn’t see it in the dark, but right there, just right of the passenger side door handle and a little bit up, a 1/4in wide, 1/2in long dent. No paint off or scratches. This is the first time Mom didn’t ask me to watch my tongue when I started cursing profusely.

By the time I got back to the store, the jerk had left. So I couldn’t get his license plate number. Even IF it was a mistake, WHY PARK NEXT TO ME??? Out of all of those spaces to park at he has to park his big ass piece of shit next to my $34k car. I have a window at work, so I can see my car every minute of the day. I have my own parking spot at my house, so nobody but me can park to me. I know it was him because of the location of the dent. A “normal” vehicle would have made the dent about half way up the car where the door “bows” outwards. The bottom of his door would have hit my car at that height. JERK!.

So if you see a blue pickup on a large set of off-roading tires with a high profile in Ft. Wayne, IN, get their plate number for me.

Also, does anyone know how much it will cost to get that dent popped out?
